Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Breaking The Spine. This week's choice is:
Remember Me: Remember Me; The Return; The Last Story by Christopher Pike(!) - Release Date: July 6, 2010
She won't let them forget?
Shari Cooper wakes up dead. The last thing she can remember is falling from a balcony during her friend's party. Her death has been ruled a suicide, but Shari knows she was murdered. All of her closest friends are now suspects. As she tries to find her killer from the other side, she discovers her friends may not have been so loyal to her after all. Now, Shari is not just out for justice, she's out for revenge?
So Christopher Pike was a HUGE part of my early teen years and probably a big influence on my storytelling, in terms of subject, today. I loved so many of his dark, twisty, and sometimes paranormal books, but without a doubt, the Remember Me books were my favorite. I wanted to re-read them not long ago and discovered they were missing from the big box of old books I kept at my mom's house so when I saw that all three books were being released in one I was stoked! I can't wait to see what I think about this story all these years later!

I'll have to try them! I can't wait for the release of Scorch Trials. Dying here!! :-)
Sounds really good! I have to look out for this one!
Oh my gosh, I haven't thought about this book in ages! I miss the old cover, though, with her all splayed out on the ground.
It's weird how many details I remember about the story, even though I haven't read it in at least fifteen years. But especially I remember trying to nickname my friend Beth Big after one of Shari's (non) friends...Beth did not like that nickname.
i used to love his books :)
OH I loved Christopher Pike growing up. He and LJ Smith basically set the foundation for my love of YA. Great post!
I hate to admit I've never read any of his books. I really need to remedy that, I always hear great things about them.
Our pick is at BookSake.
I haven't read them yet,but they're surely on my list for this year!I already have books 1 and 2,and am just waiting in my mailbox for nº 3. I wasn't sure if they were really good, but the sinopsis caught my attention, and now that you said it is good,I'll read it for sure!
"To Read" on Goodreads.com!
This sounds great!
I devoured his books as a tween/teen :) I’d love to read them again when I have time.
Chain Letter is my fave Christopher Pike of all time. I literally read it to tatters. :)
I'll have to look out for this one!
