NaNo Playlist

I spent some time this weekend making notes on the book I'm going to write for NaNoWriMo next month. It's my first time doing NaNo and I'm pretty excited. I've had this idea floating around in my brain for a while. It's a YA (of course) ghost story/paranormal romance called Whisper. I always make playlists for my writing projects so I thought I'd share this one.

Get a playlist! Standalone player Get Ringtones

They didn't have a couple of the songs I'm using, including Stay by Lillix, which sucked, but oh well, you get the idea.

I'm looking for writing buddies for NaNo! If you want to be buddies, I'm valeriekwrites over there!

I just can't decide yet whether or not to do Nano! UGH!!! I think I want to, but I'm not sure I can dedicate that much time.

I'm looking at it as an experiment. I have a lot of ideas but no real solid structure for the story and I want to see what kind of story will emerge if I just free write it. I think it will be easier for me to get to 50,000 words that way, less pressure, although I'm guessing there will be a LOT of rewriting involved.

I figure if I sit down every morning for a couple hours I should be able to knock out 2000 random words or so. We'll see if my theory holds.

Val, my project is also a YA paranormal(ish) romance. The girl is in love with a dead guy, but he's not in the book.
I made a cover image you can see on the nano site or my blog, but I haven't done a play list yet. I think "Falling Slowly - Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova" is going to be on repeat for much of it.

I'll be doing Nano. I've got a crazy month scheduled, with two out of town trips, but I figure it'll be worth it.

I absolutely LOVE your taste in music! It's exactly the same as mine (for writing). Seriously.

That's so cool Sara! My story involve two time periods, which is why there's some older stuff there. It's been fun hunting down early 90s emo type stuff, lol.

PM Dawn!?! I thought I was the only person in the world who would admit to liking them in public. :)
